Every time I update it’s bad news

…and this may seem like more of the same, I know. At least I have a small amount of work to show for it?

Despite having yet more hospital trips this year, my doctors claim they have sorted out my problems and so far (knock wood), I’ve been feeling a bit better. Hopefully this will improve and I’ll finally have a healthy year next year.

Two projects I completed a while ago, but only now have gotten to post about (and will mail out shortly): another Metroid plushie and a Lavos plushie!

Lavos, the Destroyer of Worlds from Chrono Trigger!

Hopefully I’ll have more and better things to write about soon. I’d truly prefer to have happy posts filling up these pages again.

Post-marathon roundup

Thanks everyone for helping to make Summer Games Done Quick such a success! We raised over $21,000 for the Organization for Autism Research in a little over 60 hours.

I made lots of prizes for this marathon, and didn’t get a chance to spotlight them on this blog individually; however, you can view them all on Ravelry by clicking the links on the Finished Video Game Items Master List. I’m so glad to have helped support an amazing charity!

Commissions open again

As of August 1, 2011, I am now re-opened for commissions. I still have quite a large queue, but now that I have finished my marathon work for SDA’s Summer Games Done Quick (which benefits the Organization for Autism Research), I will plow through them the way I should! Please be aware that it may take me anywhere from three to four months to start working on any new commissions. I will be working hard to update this blog regularly once again and making my progress known.

Thank you for being so patient and understanding. On with the knitting!

Still trying

My last post still stands; however, before I go to England, I’m going to try to whip out some of the fast projects in my queue. I wonder how many I can finish before I leave on Saturday?

The first down is a Kirby plushie for Andreas Karlsson.

Kirby!

Each time I make a Kirby, I have a harder and harder time sending them away! One of these days, I’ll have to make one for myself. (His Ravelry project page is here.)

Slowdown

This Saturday, I’m leaving for a month. Where am I going? England! 🙂 I will be living with my fiancĂ© and trying to get as many things sorted out as possible. We’re getting married this autumn, so the more I accomplish now, the easier things will be for the both of us when it’s time for me to actually move.

What does this mean with regards to commissions? I’m still accepting them, and updating my queue. The thing is, there may be more of a delay than I had at first told you because of my travelling. I am going to focus on the European commissions while I am in England, because it will be faster for European customers to receive them from there. My queue page will be rearranged to reflect this. No one has been forgotten or ignored. If I finish all of the European commissions during my month stay, I will work on the North American ones again; I won’t stall on your projects just because I’m in the UK.

Thank you all for supporting me by ordering items, spreading the word about my site, or even just reading my blog. It means so much to me to help support myself by doing something I truly love, and something that I hope makes others happy.
